Edra is an amazing brand that make in my opinion really wacky furniture.

The Historia Naturalis (natural history) Aster Papposus Sofa is part of the natural history range and with is jellyfish style would work so will in a amazing room with sea views. The silky blue fabric will become a massive collectors item in the future.

You can't not want one of these but you need A the budget and B the room to fit it in... I would love to see this in someones house.

Step 27 cuboard from SMA

The Step 27 cuboard offers classic lines designed from the Italian brand SMA.

The picture shows just how you can make use of these classic lines with a floating unit highlighted with a different colour on a wall surounding the unit with a lamp to of a focus of light.

I really like the way something so simple can offer a very modern and contemporary look by mixing up greys with lights and a few accessories.

The Magnum sofa is one of the non modular sofas by flexform. Most of flexform sofas are modular and of course incur a higher cost.

The magnum is a signle unit made in 3 sizes, 2 seater 2 1/2 seater and a 3 seater. The magnum range also has a chair.

Simple sleek lines. This cassina coffee is a complete design classic.

Designed in 2002 by Jehs & Laub for cassina the blox coffee table is free standing and is ment as an adition to the blox sofa which i'm sure I'll blog about soon enough.

In my opinion this table could go with so many item by cassina and many other brands.. I think it could work well with the Auckland chair and footrest by cassina.

Beautiful Kitchens From Bravo

Bravo is an Italian company that specializes in creating high-quality, perfectly crafted kitchens.

One of their most interesting kitchen collections is this, The High Cube.

At Bravo they have put their heart and soul into every unit, wall and worktop resulting in a luxurious and glamorous end product.

The look of the collection is based around minimalist lines, smooth textures, shiny and matte surfaces, clean shapes and block tones of black, white, cream and grey.

The surfaces of the High Cube are made from natural solid Samarcanda stone so they will be incredibly durable and will stay looking in top top condition for a lot longer than a kitchen worktop made from a man made material.

Also worth noting in this particular photo below is the luscious high gloss of the pale wall mounted cabinet which is in complete contrast with the matte, dark finish of the kitchen worktops and cupboards.

In this next picture below you can see the true depth of the kitchen units which Bravo says gives the owner a huge bonus. According to the company website High Cube units are 75cm deep which is considerably deeper than your average kitchen unit from highstreet stores. This extra depth means the user has more worktop space and storage room too!

The Diesis Sofa is Stunning.

Typical Antonio Citterio and Paolo Nava’s design for no other than one of the biggest designer sofa and furniture brands in the world B&B Italia.

With a hint of Le Corbusier but still very Italian in design. The Diesis sofa comes in the 3 seater pictured a smaller two seater and a chaise with of course the array of B&B Italia fabrics and leather to fit with any living space or office.

BAOBAB Tree Coat hanger From MDF Italia

The Baobab Coat hanger designed for MDF Italia is an undulated trunk and a crown of irregular branches.

The idea comes from nature. The coat is made to look like a tree with a trunk as its main body and a few branches on the top to allow you to hand a coat and alike.

This coat hanger would look great in the home as a feature to a entrance hall but would look like the image great as a feature along a hall way in a office with multi "trees" outside each office bringing a bit of nature in a working place whilst keeping a desinger contemporary feel.

Its almost impossible to watch any TV chat show or big borther sort of programs without seeing a sofa from B&B Italia.
