Knife and fork coffee table.

I came across this coffee a while back and again today. It was pretty hot idea back in 2007. Sadly I can't access the Objection design site as its down but it well worth doing a google search for more info on them and maybe you will find more info than I could.

Normally I blog about comporary and modern furniture you can get your hands on but this is one of those posts that I hope will get the old creative juice following.

I love the simple idea. I'm sure health and safety my have a few problem with it and I'd sugest keeping the kids away from it or design a similar idea with a clear glass or pastic covering/case.

The Blox Coffee table from Cassina

Simple sleek lines. This cassina coffee is a complete design classic.

Designed in 2002 by Jehs & Laub for cassina the blox coffee table is free standing and is ment as an adition to the blox sofa which i'm sure I'll blog about soon enough.

In my opinion this table could go with so many item by cassina and many other brands.. I think it could work well with the Auckland chair and footrest by cassina.

Shell coffee table by Fiam Italia.

The "shell" coffee table is a classic design by fiam.

End Table - Macassar Collection by Andrew Muggleton

This end table simple interlocks 2 bits of wood and a stainless steel support for a glass top.

This great design is made of Ebony which makes to classic but contemporary at the same time.

Macassar Writing Desk

The pictured Slim line coffee table doesn't do it justice. The weaved fiber is made up of different sections which sadly don't come out in the picture.

The entire dedon Slim line range is full of the special weave and with so many copies of the shape the weave is what make this a top end designer iconic item that will last.

Adelchi Steel table from Armani Casa

The Adelchi is a limited edition table from the designer brand Armani Casa.

The information and pictures are also sadly limited.. No designer or year ?? But I really like the look.. Its use brushed steel in alternate panels, with splitted veins to give it its unique look and feel.
Size of the table is: 140x70x74,5h.cm.

Rotor Coffee Table from Bellato

This coffee table designed for Bellato is so simple in design.

With four square wood leaves of which three can rotate offers and array of formations for a eye catching focal point with in the living room or office lobby.


With a contemporary and modern feel the rotor by bellato allow the owner to slide/fold the table into just a square when not in use and to open up when in use.

The Domino Coffee is a great design.. Simple but eye catching.

This would create a great focal point for a living area and even better in a office loby. The cross over of wood and glass off the combination of tradition and contemporary.

Amazing looking table..

This would really stand out in any room or office...

In my opinion it would work so well in a funky sort of office..

Designer but green cardboard table.

I love the look of this table from Diefabrik whom make furniture from recycled material like this table which is made of cardboard.

This table reminds me of the Cappellini rainbow chair but of course at a far lower cost. Of course you could use the rainbow chair with this table for a full on striped room.

The table is called "table433" and is made in Perth Australia.
