New York City Museum displays some of the rarest blue diamonds in the world.
Wittelsbach Graff Diamond is the main highlight of this collection. This 31.06 carats was discovered in India in later 17th Century. The diamond is a Fancy Deep Blue colored with Internally flawless clarity.
The diamond originally weighed 35.56 carats. The Wittelsbach diamond was purchased by Lawrence Graff in 2008 for $24.3 million, who got the diamond re – cut and that is how the diamond got its present name and size.
